Job Description:
The HR Admin/Payroll Associate will be responsible for supporting the human resources department in various administrative tasks related to payroll, and benefits. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the HR Team Leader and works closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Main Responsibilities:
• Assist with the processing of monthly payroll, including verifying timekeeping data, preparing payroll computations, and ensuring timely release of salaries.
• Process employee benefits, such as health insurance, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions.
• Help ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulations, such as the Labor Code and the Data Privacy Act.
• Verify employee data for payroll processing, including time and attendance, bonuses, and other compensation adjustments.
• Maintain and update employee records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials for the HR department.
• Provide support to the HR team in various administrative tasks, including filing, and data entry.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Issuing memos and announcements.
• In charge of office supplies procurement and replenishment. In charge of repair and maintenance of company asset.
• Liaison between 3rd party vendors and internal departments.
• Generate reports on a regular basis or on-demand payroll processing.
• Add newly hired employees to the biometrics, payroll systems, and maintaining/updating employees records.Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology accounting, or a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in Payroll Processing or Human Resources Administration.
• Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, including payroll laws and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll software preferred.
