The Webmaster will be responsible for the maintenance, development, and optimization of the company’s website, ensuring it is user-friendly, up-to-date, and meets the needs of the organization. This individual will work closely with the marketing and IT teams to ensure that the website aligns with the company’s objectives and is an effective tool for generating leads, building brand awareness, and driving sales.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of company websites, including daily operations, content updates, upgrades, and structural improvements.
• Ensure website functionality, uptime, and accessibility across all major browsers and device types.
• Implement routine maintenance tasks such as plugin and software updates, performance monitoring, and error resolution.
• Regularly back up website content and ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place.
• Work within CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla) to publish and update content in coordination with the marketing and content teams
•Ensure content is properly structured for SEO and meets usability and accessibility guidelines.
• Assist non-technical team members with uploading or editing content, and provide training as necessary.
•Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to implement UI/UX enhancements based on feedback, user behavior, and analytics.
•Optimize websites for responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
•Ensure consistency with the company’s branding, design systems, and tone of voice.
• Implement on-page SEO best practices including meta tags, structured data, page speed optimization, and keyword strategy.
• Work with the marketing team to develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic traffic.
•Monitor website performance through tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other third-party platforms, providing regular reports with insights and actionable recommendations.
• Ensure all web assets comply with security standards and best practices.
• Manage SSL certificates, firewalls, and security monitoring tools.|
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices for web accessibility (WCAG), GDPR compliance, and data privacy.
• Implement and manage integrations with third-party platforms, including CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), email marketing tools, analytics tools, and social media platforms.
• Manage and troubleshoot issues with domain registration, DNS configuration, hosting services, and email routing when required.
• Work with developers (internal or external) on more advanced feature development or platform migrations.
• Serve as the point person for all web-related inquiries and projects.
• Translate non-technical requirements into technical solutions and vice versa.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions related to digital marketing, e-commerce, or IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, or related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in web development, website management, or related field.
• Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla.
• Understanding of website design principles and user experience best practices.
• Experience with website optimization strategies, including SEO, website speed, and mobile responsiveness.
• Familiarity with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Moz.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
• Knowledge of website security protocols and best practices.
